New attacks by K activists. They threw glass bottles and organized counter-marches with stones, eggs, and garbage
During his visit to the province of Tierra del Fuego, President Javier Milei was accompanied by the president of the Board of Directors of the National Parks Administration (APN), Sergio Álvarez; the superintendent of Tierra del Fuego National Park, Marcelo Almirón; and various sector authorities. National candidates for La Libertad Avanza for senator, Agustín Coto, and for deputy, Miguel Rodríguez, also participated.
The president had planned to lead an event at the intersection of San Martín and Don Bosco, a central corner of Ushuaia, but the activity was interrupted by violence unleashed by ultrakirchnerista groups. According to La Libertad Avanza, it was a counter-march called by municipal "ñoquis" under the authority of Peronist mayor Gustavo Melella, who intended to attack the president "equipped with stones, garbage, and eggs."

The situation worsened when Kirchnerista criminals threw glass bottles at the heads of libertarian supporters, endangering the lives of those present. In another incident, a protester tried to steal an LLA supporter’s cap, but was subdued on the spot.
Leaked chats from groups linked to local Peronist leaders confirmed the organization of these protests, which included calls to plaster the city with slogans rejecting the presidential visit. Throughout the day, occasional roadblocks and opposition marches were reported in nearby squares, creating a tense atmosphere that forced changes to the presidential agenda.

Faced with this hostile scenario, Milei decided to improvise a brief speech with a megaphone near the Albatros hotel, where he was staying. There he stated: "Inflation, insecurity, poverty, and destitution have all decreased, all by embracing the ideas of freedom. I ask you not to give up. This time the effort will be worth it. We don't want to go back to the past, we want to continue on the path of hope. La Libertad Avanza or Argentina goes backward."
The presidential plane departed from Ushuaia at 18:30, bringing to an end a visit marked by Kirchnerista intolerance that sought to prevent the head of state from contacting his supporters. Despite the violence and attempts at boycott, Milei insisted to his supporters: "We are aware of the enormous effort you make every day. Let's not give up now, let the effort to change Argentina forever be worth it."
