The murder of Charlie Kirk at the hands of a left-wing terrorist has brought them together again. For the first time in months, United States President Donald Trump and businessman Elon Musk have been seen together. The two world leaders sat side by side during the funeral of the right-wing commentator.
The reunion was celebrated by Kirk's close associates, who stated that the late commentator would be proud to witness that scene. "Charlie wanted so much for these two men to be together again. I hope they say to each other: 'For Charlie,'" said Andrew Kolvet, number two at Turning Point USA.
Held in a sold-out stadium in Arizona, Kirk's funeral was attended, in addition to Musk, by the entire presidential cabinet and the main figures of the American right. In the box shared by the Tesla CEO and Trump, Dana White, current president of the UFC, could also be seen.

The origins of the dispute between Trump and Musk
After having been part of the Republican government for a few weeks at the beginning of the term, the back-and-forth between Musk and Trump began after the head of Tesla and SpaceX criticized the "Big Beautiful Bill," the White House's fiscal package that was approved by Congress in July, calling it a "disgusting abomination."
Later, the South African businessman broke off relations with Trump after falsely accusing him of being on the client list of child trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, an attitude Musk regrets to this day. "I regret some of my posts about President Donald Trump last week. They went too far," wrote Tesla's boss on X.
The situation began to calm down after that gesture Musk made last June, with the presidential leader stating that "he didn't hold a grudge" against the tech innovator. "The truth is, I didn't expect it. He attacked an extraordinary bill... I think he feels very bad for having said that," Trump replied, alluding to the criticism of his tax law.
The president praised Musk for his work to reduce American public spending and congratulated him for having led the "broadest and most significant federal government reform in generations." "Elon provided unbelievable service. There's no one like him, and he had to go through a lot of difficulties, which is a shame, because he's an unbelievable patriot. The good news is that 90% of the country knows it, appreciates it, and truly values what he did," he stated.
