Lali Espósito and Pedro Rosemblat chose to start the New Year far from Argentina, against their own public recommendations. After a year full of public exposure, discursive activism, and political positions aligned with Kirchnerism, the singer and the host decided to take a few days off in Brazil, a destination that did not go unnoticed by their own followers.
From paradisiacal beaches, the artist shared a series of images with her boyfriend and a group of friends, in an atmosphere of relaxation, romance, and enjoyment.

"Congratulations", Lali wrote to accompany the snapshots, which quickly went viral. However, far from receiving only affectionate messages, the post unleashed a wave of criticism that exposed an increasingly visible discomfort: the gap between public discourse and the real lifestyle of many figures of cultural progressivism.
"Which part of the Argentine coast are those hills in?", "How beautiful Mar del Plata is, right?", "Popular discourse, millionaire lifestyle", "The little leftist making money here and taking it to other countries" and "Everything national and popular until vacation time comes", were some of the comments that began to multiply under the Instagram post that she made.
