Lara Piro and her scathing remark to Icardi: 'I sent him to Google the word dignity'
The attorney revealed how she approached the footballer's defense and sharply criticized Wanda Nara
When Mauro Icardi realized that his relationship with Wanda Nara had shifted from love to open conflict, he sought legal support to face her in court and in the media. He chose two family law specialists: Elba Marcovecchio and Lara Piro. Both had different styles, but the same ferocity when it came to defending their clients.
It was precisely Piro who surprised him with an unusual request as soon as she took on his representation.
The comment that shocked Icardi
In an interview with SQP (América TV), the attorney confessed that the first thing she did was send the player to "google the word dignity". According to her, she had never seen a man expose himself so much in an attempt to save his family.
"I'm saying this and I know Mauro won't be offended. But I've never seen anyone humiliate himself so much," she recounted. That phrase, although hurtful, had a clear objective: for Icardi to abandon the idea of reconciling with Wanda, whom she described as a woman with no qualms about publicly discrediting him.

The lawyer went further and described her as a "professional mythomaniac", asserting that he needed to let go of his ex for good and seek psychological help if necessary.
Wanda Nara struck back and Piro replied
On Thursday morning, Wanda returned to the country after a work trip and spoke to the press. In her statements she claimed to have gone through situations similar to those reported by Julieta Prandi against her ex-husband, mentioning abuse and violence.

That testimony caused an immediate reaction from Lara Piro. In a conversation with Yanina Latorre, the attorney made it clear that Icardi had no allegations of rape, violence, or physical assault. She also pointed out that, judicially, there was no evidence or records to support the businesswoman's statements.
The defender added that she had dealt with close associates such as Kennys Palacios —although she clarified that he did not testify in the case—and stated that, if there were any private testimony from Icardi, Wanda would have already made it public.
With determination, she accused the media personality of manipulating accounts and obstructing the relationship between the footballer and his children as an act of revenge. For Piro, the conflict had turned into a constant tension that made it difficult to distinguish between couple disputes and a true situation of violence.
