The occupational health and safety specialist passed away at 38 after a tough battle with cancer
Luciano Ojeda, partner of Gladys "la Bomba Tucumana", passed away this Saturday at the age of 38 after enduring a tough and painful battle against an aggressive cancer. The news impacted the entertainment world, not only because of his connection with the singer but also due to the life story they shared in recent years, marked by illness, resilience, and unconditional love.
Throughout the process, Ojeda underwent multiple surgeries and chemotherapy treatments that failed to stop the progression of the disease. Despite the guarded prognosis, he remained active on social media, where he shared reflections and everyday moments, even on the most difficult days.

His last message on social media
On his Instagram account, Luciano posted a video that today takes on a different value. Recorded in selfie mode and accompanied by Gladys, the clip carries a deep emotional weight: it not only shows the physical aftermath of the illness but also a strong critique of the mistreatment faced by people with disabilities.
"Using disabled services, being disabled", he titled the post in which he exposed the lack of accessibility in a well-known supermarket chain. In the video, he sadly recounted that after his last hospitalization, he had to move around in an adapted cart.
"It's quite complicated to get them. There was only one for a giant supermarket. I put myself in the place of all disabled people because I am now one due to being monorenal, I had never used it, and the truth is it's tragic that there's only one for such a large supermarket," he expressed.
During an interview on Mañanísima, Carmen Barbieri's show, Gladys recalled one of the hardest moments of her relationship with Ojeda. After the appearance of an eight-kilogram (17.6 pounds) tumor in his abdomen, the diagnosis was devastating. Shortly after a second surgery, he decided to distance himself from her to spare her the suffering of accompanying him.
"The doctor who attended him kind of said 'go die at home,' something like that, without any hope. And he said 'this girl doesn't deserve any of what I'm going through,'" the visibly moved singer recounted.
They were separated for four months. "I had such a hard time, suffered so much, begged God and him so much to let me be by his side," she confessed. Finally, they managed to reunite and face the last stage of the illness together.
