Lionel Scaloni to Brazil?: La Canarinha dreams of having him as Dorival's replacement
A journalist didn't rule out the possibility that the neighboring country might call the native of Pujato
After the resounding 4-1 defeat against the Argentine National Team, the Brazilian football authorities decided to end Dorival Júnior's tenure as coach.
In this context, journalist Flavio Prado, from the program "Jovem Pan Esporte", mentioned Lionel Scaloni as an alternative to lead the Verdeamarelha, while the desire to see Carlo Ancelotti in the position fades.

"The Brazilian Football Confederation should make an offer to Scaloni. It would be a disaster for Argentina. You offer him five times what he earns and he'll go crazy," the journalist explained.
He also added: "In the worst-case scenario, you blow up the AFA's safe. A proposal must be made to Scaloni. If he crosses over, good for the CBF. Anyway, they've already thrown money away. If he doesn't accept, you create chaos in the Argentine National Team."
Brazil in search of a new coach: the candidates on the list
Meanwhile, as the inconclusive negotiations with Ancelotti continue, other names have begun to circulate as possible replacements, including Pep Guardiola, Jürgen Klopp, and Jorge Jesús.
The latter, recently parted ways with Al Hilal, appears with great possibilities of becoming the next coach of the Canarinha.

Another candidate is André Jardine, coach of América de México. The Brazilian is one of the best coaches in CONCACAF and has already been in charge of his country's Under-20 and Under-23 teams, where he won a gold medal in Tokyo 2020.
However, he might reject a possible call, as the Mexican club could enter the World Cup at the last minute.
