The corrupt former president Cristina Fernández de Kirchner led a meeting at the headquarters of the Justicialist Party (PJ), in a context marked by anticipation regarding the imminent Supreme Court ruling in the case known as "Vialidad".
If the court upholds the previous sentence, as expected, the individual convicted of corruption will face a six-year prison sentence and lifetime disqualification from holding public office.
The judges of the highest court, Ricardo Lorenzetti, Horacio Rosatti, and Carlos Rosenkrantz, have already cast their votes, which were submitted to the Criminal Secretariat. The final decision is expected to be announced around 4:00 p.m.
Meanwhile, Cristina Kirchner remains at the PJ headquarters, where supporters have begun to gather nearby. In addition, several unions have threatened to call for indefinite strike actions if the ruling is confirmed.
