Cattle prices in Córdoba moved upward following a new auction by the firm Consignaciones Córdoba at the Sociedad Rural de Jesús María.
Calves weighing 100 to 150 kilograms (220 to 330 pounds) rose by almost 13% compared to the price from the previous week and were paid at $4,400 per kilogram.
Meanwhile, steers weighing 300 to 350 kilograms (660 to 770 pounds) reached a value of $3,300 per kilogram, just a 0.6% increase compared to the previous week's auction.
It is worth noting that the price dynamics paid for steers at the Rural de Jesús María auction often serve as a reference for meat prices on store shelves in the country's interior.
