The organizing committee of the next Olympic Games confirmed that starting on January 14, 2026, fans will be able to register to enter the ticket purchase process. According to Reuters, at least one million seats will have an initial price of 28 dollars, a symbolic figure that connects directly with the name of the Olympic event and with the inclusive spirit that the organizers seek to imprint on the event.

"It is not about a few tickets in marginal sections, but about a significant number of well-distributed tickets", explained Allison Katz-Mayfield, senior vice president of distribution revenue for LA28. The executive also confirmed that nearly one third of the total number of seats will cost less than 100 dollars, something unusual in major sporting events in recent years.

Once registration is complete, fans will participate in a random lottery system that will determine access to the purchase period, scheduled for later in 2026.
