The legal battle between Martín Redrado and Luciana Salazar took a crucial turn. The former president of the Central Bank filed an extortion complaint against the model, who now faces a summons to testify as a defendant.
Jorge Rial, responsible for revealing the progress of the case, shared court documents that would confirm a possible tightening in Salazar's legal situation. According to the journalist, the Justice system would have already gathered testimonies and evidence supporting the charge.
The extortion case against Luciana Salazar advances
The case is filed in the National Criminal and Correctional Court No. 6, and the presiding judge would have requested additional information about Salazar's travels, as well as data that will allow establishing the source of the funding.

Rial showed evidence and spoke about Salazar's financial demands
Rial claimed that Salazar would have pressured Redrado with various financial demands, including the rental of a property in Nordelta with a monthly value of 3,600 dollars. According to the documents, the threat was to publicly expose the economist if he did not comply with the requests.
