The socialist dictator of Brazil,Luiz Inácio Lula Da Silva, met this Thursday with the corrupt former Argentine president Cristina Fernándezde Kirchner at her home in the Constitución neighborhood of Buenos Aires, where she is serving house arrest following a final conviction for corruption.

The meeting took place after the Brazilian leader's participation in the Mercosur Summit, held in Buenos Aires, where he assumed the pro tempore presidency of the regional bloc.

The private meeting lasted approximately 50 minutes. Lula arrived at the location shortly after 12:30, accompanied by a significant security detail and accredited diplomatic staff. He left the convicted individual's residence at 13:25. The visit was exceptionally authorized by federal judge Jorge Gorini, who is in charge of the case that convicted the former vice president for fraudulent administration.

Cristina Fernández de Kirchner was sentenced by the Federal Oral Court No. 2 to six years of imprisonment and permanent disqualification from holding public office, in the context of the case known as "Vialidad".

The ruling, upheld by higher courts, determined her responsibility in a scheme to direct public works contracts in favor of businessman Lázaro Báez during her presidential terms. She is currently serving her sentence at home, with visits limited and subject to judicial authorization.

However, according to reports, Fernández de Kirchner's legal team requested permission from the court to receive the foreign leader as part of a diplomatic visit for "humanitarian" purposes. The Argentine Foreign Ministry and delegates from the Brazilian government coordinated the formal request, which was approved under strict conditions.

Among these, the absence of media and the prohibition of causing disturbances in public spaces were established, something that was expressly warned to the corrupt Peronist by the intervening court.

During the meeting, a small group of "K" activists gathered at the entrance of the building. The corrupt former president used the meeting to launch a harsh rhetorical offensive against Javier Milei's government, which she accused of hollowing out democracy and promoting political persecution against the opposition.

Through her social media accounts, Fernández de Kirchnerpublished a series of photographs with the Brazilian leader, also a former convict, and stated that the visit was not only a gesture of friendship but a "political act of solidarity". In this regard, she portrayed Lula as a victim of lawfare, drawing a parallel with her own judicial situation, despite the convictions upheld by the Argentine judiciary that permanently disqualify her from holding public office.

She directly targeted the current national government, denouncing what she called a "drift toward authoritarianism" and an alleged "low-intensity state terrorism". Such statements were made without verifiable evidence and in an alarmist tone that contrasts with the prevailing institutional principles.

Kirchner also attacked Security Minister Patricia Bullrich for the recent arrests of activists suspected of participating in a feces attack against the home of Congressman José Luis Espert. According to the Peronist leader, it was a repressive action that affected "women, youth, and activists", deliberately ignoring the criminal background of the case and the ongoing evidence that led to the arrests.

In her series of posts, the former vice president insisted on a narrative of political persecution and censorship, alluding to alleged violations of press freedom. She cited a report by Reporters Without Borders that places Argentina lower in the press freedom ranking, although she omitted to mention that this decline began years before the current government and is linked to multiple factors unrelated to the Executive Branch.

In a new attempt to score points, Cristina Fernández de Kirchner resorted to a heated speech that seeks to establish an image of victimization in the face of what she considers an attack on democratic rights. However, her judicial record and the accumulated evidence against her continue to outweigh her meaningless words.
