For this reason, the businessman from Córdoba stated that the governor of the province, Martín Llaryora, should support it.
"He is a very active governor and he has some clear principles about how the economy works," he pointed out.
Tagle explicó que una reforma de este tenor no implicará achicar los sueldos de los trabajadores.
"This is the time to take a stand on these matters in order to achieve a more modern, more competitive, and more efficient country," he added.
For Tagle, Llaryora's support for this measure would be "a great benefit for all workers."
Meanwhile, the head of Grupo Autocity was clear in pointing out the fight against informality, one of the objectives pursued by the labor reform bill.
"The country has to eliminate once and for all this great informality that it has in employment contracts, which do not exist for 40% of the active population," he stated.
Manuel Tagle explains why he supports labor reform
Manuel Tagle explained why he supports labor reform.
"True to our convictions that the country has to modernize on the basis of freedom and integration into the world, we believe that the reform will give the country a historic opportunity to grow, as it was many years ago a prosperous country that caused well-being on the basis of freedom and the free market," he expressed.
"The labor reform is part of that mechanism that the economy needs in order to operate with greater efficiency," he added.
Tagle explained that a reform of this nature will not mean reducing workers' salaries, but rather reducing costs so that employment can grow.
"This doesn't mean that there is an intention to lower employees' wages, but what is intended is to lower the additional costs that are involved in employment contracts, such as severance payments, which create a sense of caution in small and medium-sized enterprises when it comes to hiring employees," he explained.
