Marcelo Polino moved everyone with his memory of Antonio Gasalla

The journalist referred to his close friend and shared some fond memories with him

Marcelo Polino spoke emotionally about his relationship with Antonio Gasalla after his death in an interview with LAM. In a very heartfelt moment, Polino shared some endearing memories of the comedian, who passed away last Tuesday morning, after a delicate health condition that lasted for several years.

When asked by Ángel de Brito about what images came to mind when thinking of the actor, the journalist recalled with laughter an anecdote from his early years of professional relationship. "The first time, you remember that I was kind of acting as Pradón's manager, at the time when I worked with him", he began. With his characteristic humor, Marcelo remembered how, back then, he had a clash with Antonio who, with his strong temperament, didn't hesitate to respond when Polino asked him for something for Pradón.

Despite this initial clash, the relationship between them improved over time and they managed to forge a unique bond of friendship that lasted over the years. "From there, we started to become friends. Once you could penetrate that armor of Antonio, he was very sensitive, a hypersensitive Piscean", Marcelo commented, highlighting the vulnerability behind the explosive character of the comedian. For him, the most valuable part of his relationship with the actor was how much they laughed together. "The best thing is that we laughed for hours together", he expressed.

In the midst of his grief, the journalist reflected on what it meant to lose a close and dear friend. "Today is an incredibly sad day", he said, moved. Although he was still going through the process of saying goodbye, he made it clear that he wants to hold on to the best of his relationship with Gasalla: "I want to hold on to that, and surely more beautiful memories will appear over time."

Finally, Polino closed the interview on a more melancholic note, sharing how difficult the last stretch of Antonio's illness was. "Since last night this was getting very complicated, so the outcome was this morning. These are very difficult hours", he concluded, visibly affected by the passing of his friend and colleague.
