After the first tests, the health professionals detected that the child had a brain hemorrhage and other injuries that did not match a domestic accident or natural causes.

The baby's condition worsened as the hours passed until, finally, the doctors confirmed his death last Sunday.
By order of the duty criminal investigation prosecutor's office, the immediate arrest of the father was ordered, a 24-year-old young man, and of the mother, who is 18 years old.
Both were placed at the disposal of the justice system and were charged, initially, with the offense of aggravated homicide due to the relationship.
The investigators are now working on collecting testimonies from the family circle and on the autopsy results, which will be key to determining whether there were signs of prior violence or "chronic abuse."
