Mariana Brey reported mistreatment and fanaticism from Nancy Pazos and called her authoritarian on LAM
Mariana Brey broke her silence after her tense confrontation with Nancy Pazos on the show A la Barbarossa, where they share the panel.
The journalist stated that for months she has been experiencing uncomfortable moments and pointed directly at Nancy Pazos for behaviors she described as authoritarian and fanatical.

What happened between Mariana Brey and Nancy Pazos?
The conflict erupted publicly this week, but according to Brey, the tension has existed since she joined the show three months ago.
"I didn't notice anything different. It's something that's been happening for a while. Sometimes you have to set a boundary," she said in an interview with LAM.
Comments behind backs and tension in the air
Brey clarified that she doesn't speak behind anyone's back. "I have the ability and honesty to say things directly. I don't say anything that I can't stand by later," she stated.

She also denied rumors about alleged discomfort from the production. "They said Georgina didn't like me, and both she and the production denied it. Everything is fine with me," she said.
"She became fanatical and lost her reason"
The journalist went further and linked Pazos's behavior to her ideology. "When you become fanatical about something, you live in a parallel reality and lose your reason. That's when you lie and believe your own lie," she said.

She emphasized: "She's undermining her own credibility. What is happening to her is serious. She can't distinguish between the truth and her political beliefs," she remarked.
Disqualifications and forced silences
Brey revealed that she has received mistreatment from some colleagues, including gestures she considers authoritarian: "When the 'shut up' or a disqualifying comment appears, it's intense," she said.
"It seems almost fascist to me. I haven't done anything but express how I felt. For three months, I've been experiencing situations like that," she concluded firmly.
