Carmen Barbieri was once again called by Telefe to join a new edition of Masterchef Celebrity. The decision caused a stir, as it put her move to El Nueve on hold, where she had a very advanced project.
According to reports, Telefe's offer was economically irresistible and outweighed any other ongoing negotiations. The actress chose to prioritize the culinary reality show and withdrew from other commitments.

The information was revealed by Marcela Tauro on Intrusos (América TV), where she confirmed that Barbieri had already arranged her participation. "She will be on Masterchef Celebrity, which will take place in the third quarter of the year," the journalist detailed.
The last time she participated, she had to leave the competition due to health complications after contracting coronavirus. At that time, her son Federico Bal replaced her during several galas.
They tripled her money
"I was told that they tripled her money," Tauro revealed, after speaking with a direct source from the host's circle. With that financial incentive, the offer was impossible to refuse.
Telefe is looking for a strong season and is assembling a staff with names that ensure ratings. Barbieri's return would be one of the main attractions.
