Channel war: América TV wants to add two Telefe stars
América TV wants to take two figures from La Peña de Morfi for its new comedy show, 'Infumables.'
Telefe and América TV could face off over the future employment of two beloved comedians. Both received a tempting offer to join "Infumables," the new comedy show that América is preparing.
According to Marina Calabró on “Lape Club Social Informativo,” América TV is going all out for two figures from La Peña de Morfi.

The targeted ones are Nazareno Mottola and Pichu Straneo, who currently work at Telefe.
América wants Nazareno and Pichu for “Infumables”
The new comedy show will be called “Infumables” and would air from Monday to Friday at night. It would replace “Pasó en América” and mark a strong bet by América on comedy in its prime time.
The production wants to have the two comedians as part of its regular cast.

What did Telefe say about América's proposal?
Marina Calabró assured that the situation caused tension in the halls of Telefe.
“We've got a mess,” the panelist said on air. She added: “Telefe said: 'If they want to go, go, but the screen duplication doesn't please us at all.'”
