Maxi López is going through a special moment both personally and in the media. While he enjoys the popularity he gained during his time on MasterChef (Telefe), he is preparing for the birth of his second child with Daniela Christiansson, expected in December.

In an interview with Susana Roccasalvo for Implacables (El Nueve), the former footballer confirmed the name chosen for the baby. He also spoke about his current life as a father, the exhaustion that is coming, and a possible rapprochement with Mauro Icardi.

What will Maxi López's son be named?

During the interview with Implacables, López said that the baby will be named Lando. He explained that it is an English name that reminds him of Lando Norris, a Formula 1 driver. He also revealed that he is maintaining a family tradition.

According to him, his eldest daughter Elle was born in London and also has a name linked to England. For the former footballer, following that line has sentimental value that he wanted to repeat with the arrival of the new family member.

Fatherhood and the challenges that return

López appeared happy, but he did not lose his sense of humor when talking about the exhaustion that is coming. "Now another one is coming, and again, no sleep, being tired, changing diapers," he commented with a laugh.

However, he clarified that each stage fills him emotionally. "These are things that, despite the exhaustion, I like," he emphasized, celebrating this new chapter in his family life.

Is he moving back to Buenos Aires?

When asked by Implacables, López did not rule out the possibility, but he did make it clear that today is not the right time for such a change. "It's not three or four hours like traveling around Europe, it's 15 or 16," he explained about the distance.

On Intrusos (América), López surprised by appearing conciliatory when asked about Icardi's reunion with his daughters. He assured that Wanda Nara should be calm and that the children "have to be with their father when it's appropriate".
