Máximo Kirchner declared assets of 8.3 billion pesos (18.3 million dollars), an increase of 76%.
The assets of the son of the corrupt former president Cristina Kirchner recorded significant growth
The national deputy and son of the corrupt and convicted former president, Máximo Kirchner, reported to the Anti-Corruption Office (OA) assets amounting to 8,311,567,011.23 pesos. However, what strongly drew attention is that, in the previous fiscal year, he had declared assets worth 4,719 million pesos.
He owns 27 properties, shareholdings in companies linked to investigations for alleged money laundering, and holdings exceeding 2,800,000 dollars. In just one year and without having worked, his assets grew by approximately 76%.
The capital declared by the son of the corrupt former president Cristina Kirchner consists mainly of dollars. Added to this are the properties inherited from former president Néstor Kirchner and those received by "donation" during his mother's lifetime.

In the sworn statement submitted to the OA, it is indicated that of the 27 registered properties, only two were acquired with his own funds. The total estimated value of these properties amounts to 2,349,841,381.80 pesos.
In the statement corresponding to the previous year, the leader of La Cámpora had included the same set of properties, including houses, apartments, and land located mainly in El Calafate, as well as a commercial property, with a valuation of 1,190,524,306.16 pesos.
One of the most relevant aspects of his assets is his dollar holdings. According to his statement, he holds 2,905,572 dollars, which is equivalent, at the official exchange rate, to 2,929,834,061.34 pesos. That amount represents a significant portion of the more than 8,300 million pesos that Máximo Kirchner declared as of December 31, 2024.
The Kirchners' shady companies
The shareholdings in companies linked to the Kirchner family also reflected a notable increase in their valuation. Sauces S.A., the real estate company whose only employee was the gardener at Cristina Kirchner's residence in El Calafate, was the subject of an investigation for alleged money laundering.

Máximo Kirchner owns 55% of the shares in this company, and declared a value of 1,507,421,976.50 pesos for this holding. This real estate company, whose main tenants were Lázaro Báez and Cristóbal López, had been valued in the previous statement at 719,847,540.50 pesos.
Another company is Hotesur S.A., owner of the Alto Calafate hotel, also involved in legal cases for alleged money laundering schemes. The legislator owns 50% of the shares, whose value was estimated at 1,086,116,594.00 pesos.
Both Máximo and Cristina Kirchner will face a public trial, accused of having used these companies for purposes unrelated to commercial activity, establishing them, according to the accusation, to carry out money laundering operations. In his previous asset statement, the holding in Hotesur had been valued at 405,366,129.56 pesos.
The third company linked to the family scheme is Co.Ma. S.A., which was valued at just 93,354 pesos. This is a company that never had commercial activity and owns only a vacant lot in El Calafate.
