On the streaming show "La Misa," hosted by Gordo Dan and broadcast on the Carajo channel, a phrase that, although informal, is loaded with symbolism, began to be widely used: "From Máximo to Néstor."
However, the phrase, used to describe an "extremely intense" situation, refers to one of the darkest and most persistent theories circulating in Argentine politics, which to this day continues to generate discussion.
The dark theory about Néstor's death
The expression alludes to the hypothesis that former president Néstor Kirchner did not die of natural causes, as the official version states, but was instead murdered inside his home under even darker circumstances: the perpetrator of the gunshot would have been his own son, Máximo Kirchner.
The most widely spread version of this theory is based on various allegations, such as the one filed by attorney Juan Ricardo Mussa, or confessions from people close to the Kirchner family. The theory explains that Máximo would be the material author of a fatal gunshot against his father, in the midst of a scene of domestic violence.

For example, according to Mussa's allegation, in the early hours of October 27, 2010, there was a heated argument between Néstor and Cristina Fernández, which included shouting, threats, and physical violence.
In that context, Néstor allegedly took a firearm and threatened Cristina, at which point his son intervened. In the midst of the struggle, the shot was fired directly at Néstor's head, ending the former president's life instantly.

Within this version, rumors about the private life of the Kirchner marriage are mentioned. Various accounts indicate that Néstor engaged in physical and verbal abuse toward Cristina, and that there was intense jealousy due to alleged infidelities on her part.
Some sources claim that Cristina maintained intimate relationships with other men in her circle, which caused increasingly explosive tension between the two.
