A few days before publicly accusing President Javier Milei of being in love with his sister and linking him to incest, both on the C5N channel and on her own station and social media, the ultra-Kirchnerist journalist Julia Mengolini received, from the government of Axel Kicillof, two official advertising contracts totaling $6,074,632, which at that time was USD 12,951 or $15,910,554 current pesos.
In early May 2023, Mengolini spread the lie on the program Duro de Domar, broadcast by C5N, that then-presidential candidate Javier Milei had a romantic relationship with his sister Karina.
Later, from the microphone of her radio station Futurock, she intensified her false statements with an even more reprehensible message. On May 5, 2023, she opened her program with the phrase: “What I understand is that, it seems to me more important at this moment, from an ethical point of view, to sacrifice myself and start saying what no one is saying.”

Later on, she insisted on the lie and confessed the objective of the savage attacks: “Milei is an unbalanced man and we have to prevent him from becoming President of the Nation. Whatever it takes. Whatever it takes.”
Back then, she referred to a post of hers on social media in which she confirmed her statements from the previous night on Duro de Domar, and added: “I didn't say he had a sexual relationship with his sister, although it wouldn't be a bad idea for him to clarify it, given the rumors circulating about it.”
