After participating in the vigil event for Independence Day in Tucumán, President Javier Milei returned to the City of Buenos Aires to lead the traditional Tedeum on July 9 at the Metropolitan Cathedral.
The religious ceremony once again brought together the main government authorities in one of the most representative celebrations of the national calendar.
The day was marked by the usual walk from the Casa Rosada to the Catholic temple, a characteristic image of this date. The service was led by the Archbishop of Buenos Aires, Jorge García Cuerva, who had already held that role during the commemoration on May 25.

The president was accompanied by the Secretary General of the Presidency, Karina Milei; the Chief of Staff, Diego Santilli; the Foreign Minister, Pablo Quirno; the Ministers of Justice, Juan Bautista Mahiques; of Security, Alejandra Monteoliva; of Defense, Carlos Alberto Presti; of Health, Mario Lugones; of Human Capital, Sandra Pettovello; and of State Transformation, Federico Sturzenegger; the President of the Chamber of Deputies, Martín Menem; the Provisional President of the Senate, Bartolomé Abdala; the National Senator, Patricia Bullrich; the President of the Central Bank, Santiago Bausili; the Presidential Advisor, Santiago Caputo; the Secretary of Legal and Technical Affairs, María Ibarzabal Murphy; and the Secretaries of Presidential Spokesperson, Adrián Ravier; of Communication and Press, Fabián Fernández; and of Culture, Leonardo Cifelli, along with national legislators and national authorities.
After the ceremony, the president took part in a symbolic scene. President Javier Milei greeted and enthusiastically sang the Marcha de San Lorenzo alongside a grenadier, after participating in the Tedeum for July 9, which took place at the Metropolitan Cathedral.
