After participating in the Tedeum for Independence Day at the Metropolitan Cathedral of Buenos Aires, President Javier Milei led a Cabinet meeting at the Casa Rosada, where he advanced the Government's economic agenda and presented details about one of the key initiatives in preparation.
During the meeting, the head of state outlined to his ministers the guidelines of the reform project for the Organic Charter of the Central Bank of the Argentine Republic (BCRA), which is currently being drafted within the Executive Branch.
The initiative is part of the measures that the Government plans to promote in economic and institutional matters, and aims to ensure that the Central Bank is responsible for defending the value of the national currency and prohibiting monetary issuance to finance the deficit, which ultimately leads to inflation.
