Milei received the Military Equestrian Order of the Grenadier Knights of the Andes
This way, the head of state was incorporated into the body honorarily
In an event filled with patriotic symbolism, President Javier Milei was awarded the “Military Equestrian Order of the Grenadier Knights of the Andes” by the historic Regiment of Mounted Grenadiers General San Martín.
The ceremony took place at the headquarters of the military unit, located on Luis María Ocampo Avenue 560, in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.

During the event, the head of state was incorporated into the corps honorarily, a recognition reserved for distinguished personalities who, due to their institutional role, represent the values of the Homeland and the Sanmartinian legacy. Accompanying the president were his sister Karina Milei, Secretary General of the Presidency, the Minister of Defense, Luis Petri, and the main authorities of the Regiment.
The distinction honors the figure of the Liberator José de San Martín, creator of the Regiment in 1812 and historical reference of republican and independence ideals. This act also strengthens the bond between the presidential office and the Armed Forces, in a context where the national government seeks to reclaim aspects of Argentine military history and promote traditional values.

The awarding of the decoration was disseminated through official government channels and celebrated by sectors that highlight the importance of patriotic symbols in Argentine institutional life. The gesture represents a reaffirmation of Milei's Government's commitment to traditions and the legacy of the country's founding heroes.
