A recent national survey once again placed President Javier Milei at the forefront of preferences ahead of the 2027 presidential elections, with La Libertad Avanza strongly leading voting intention.
The study, carried out by the consulting firm Trends, reflects a favorable outlook for the libertarian administration both in voting intention by political blocs and in a potential runoff against the ultra-Kirchnerist governor Axel Kicillof. The survey was conducted between January 5 and 16, with a total of 2,000 cases nationwide and a margin of error of 2.2%.
The report records that positive feelings prevail regarding the personal situation in the future, with 45% expressing "hope", while optimism regarding the country's future also reaches 45%, surpassing pessimism, which stands at 38%.

In relation to presidential management, Trends' work shows polarization, although with a clearly favorable balance for the head of state. 50% of those surveyed maintain a positive assessment of Javier Milei's administration, divided between 28% who rate it as "very good" and 22% who consider it "good". In contrast, 47% express a negative view, with 37% defining it as "very bad" and 10% as "bad".
The 2027 elections
The electoral section of the study concentrates the most relevant data in the report. Faced with the question "Thinking about the 2027 Presidential Elections, which of the following political blocs would you vote for?", the bloc led by the President clearly appears in first place.
