Milei's government thanked Elon Musk for his support to Bahía Blanca with Starlink.

Amid the severe floods that affected the city of Bahía Blanca, the Government of Javier Milei, expressed his deep gratitude to Elon Musk and his company Starlink for their support to the affected locality.

Starlink, Musk's satellite internet company, announced that it will offer one month of free service to its customers in the regions impacted by the floods in Bahía Blanca.

The initiative, applied without the need for user management, aims to ensure connectivity at a time when communications are vital to coordinate the emergency response and facilitate contact between affected families. Users will be able to verify the applied credit in the billing section of their accounts.

"The Office of the President of the Argentine Republic thanks Elon Musk for his gesture of solidarity by providing, through his company Starlink, free Internet services for Bahía Blanca in this difficult time. The city, its inhabitants, and all Argentinians deeply value this support," the Government expressed in an official statement.

Previously, yesterday, from Starlink's official account on X, they communicated: "The Starlink team supports the response efforts in Argentina following the severe floods in Bahía Blanca".

This action highlights the excellent relationship between President Javier Milei and Elon Musk, as well as the collaboration between the private and public sectors in crisis situations, and underscores Starlink's commitment to the well-being of affected communities.
