President Javier Milei began 2026 with levels of support that, according to a new national survey, confirm the continuity of the strong social backing recorded at the close of last year.
A study conducted by DC Consultores reveals an enormously positive assessment of the economic policy driven by the libertarian administration and a consolidation of citizens' support for Milei's model.
The survey was carried out between January 10 and 12 on a total of 1,915 interviews conducted by cell phone throughout the country. The report has a margin of error of +/- 2.2% and was presented under the title "The Lord of Miracles," accompanied by an image of the Argentine president.
According to the document, the beginning of the third year of the administration finds the ruling party in a social scenario that is different from that of the first months of government. In one of the central passages of the report, the consulting firm states: "Javier Milei reached the presidency after promising a true revolution and said he knew the path to the promised land: a prosperous and free Argentina. After two years of structural transformations, Argentina is entering its third year of libertarian administration under an atypical social configuration."

The study indicates that citizens' perception went through a process of change compared to the initial period. According to DC Consultores: "Although in surveys from 2023 and early 2024 we observed a transition based on uncertainty, today the data reveal a clear consolidation: society has internalized the sacrifice requested by the president for the sake of a national project."
One of the central axes of the survey is linked to the assessment of the economic course. At that point, the report indicates that 62.24% of those surveyed consider that the country's economic path is the right one, defined as "liberal–chainsaw."
