Narco couple arrested in Córdoba: they used their underage daughter to sell cocaine from their home

The daughter was involved in the family business. Authorities found 165 doses of cocaine, pills, cash, and a digital scale

A couple and their underage daughter were arrested for alleged drug dealing in Córdoba capital. The operation was carried out in the Residencial San Roque neighborhood. The Anti-Narcotics Police Force (FPA) acted following anonymous reports of suspicious activity.

The raid was conducted at 4900 Viedma Recalde Street, where the family lived. Upon entering the residence, the officers caught the mother attempting to throw cocaine into the kitchen. She was trying to dispose of the drugs before being arrested.

The FPA seized cocaine, pills, cash, and a digital scale

During the procedure, 165 packets of cocaine and 26 Rohypnol tablets were seized. They also found 365,000 pesos ($365,000) in cash and a digital scale. All items were confiscated by court order and directly linked to the case.

The woman was arrested without resistance. Minutes later, the father and their underage daughter were also taken into custody. All were transferred to be placed at the disposal of the Prosecutor's Office.

They were charged with aggravated drug trafficking

The case was placed in the hands of the Narcotics Prosecutor's Office of the First Shift. The charges correspond to the crime of aggravated trafficking. The minor will be placed at the disposal of the Juvenile Criminal Justice system.

For months, operations in residential areas with anonymous reports have multiplied. The situation exposes how drug trafficking no longer distinguishes by age or family structure. In Córdoba capital, crime continues to gain ground in neighborhoods where tranquility once prevailed.

The use of minors in activities related to drug trafficking is not an isolated incident in Córdoba. Family complicity and exposing children to serious crimes are a sign of social degradation that can't be normalized. The justice system must act firmly to stop this criminal model that recruits from childhood.
