The disastrous Toviggino replied to Bullrich after being summoned for his statements
The AFA official replied with personal insults and unfounded accusations against Patricia Bullrich, escalating the conflict with the National Government
Far from toning it down, Pablo Toviggino once again demonstrated that he is willing to take the confrontation with the National Government to the extreme. The treasurer of the Argentine Football Association (AFA) replied with a message full of verbal violence and personal insults to a public letter from the Minister of Security, Patricia Bullrich, and he did so from his official X account.

"Wishing for a country free of politicians like you and Dientes Amarillos, in my opinion, is the mark of a good person," Toviggino declared, also referring to Guillermo Francos. The phrase not only denotes deep contempt, but also conveys a message that borders on political intolerance and discrimination.
However, the most serious part came afterward. In an attempt to discredit Bullrich, Toviggino resorted to an old accusation already dismissed by the courts and by recent history itself: "The President publicly stated—and without any denial from you, by the way—that you were a terrorist and planted bombs in kindergartens," he wrote.

In addition, the official tried to portray himself as a victim by referring to an alleged "censorship disguised as institutionalism": "At this rate, soon we'll need protection, not from criminals, but from censorship disguised as institutionalism," he asserted. This is a striking statement coming from an AFA official, an organization that has historically operated with opacity, little external oversight, and recurring scandals.
Far from showing restraint, Toviggino persisted in his belligerent tone: "I reserve all the constitutional and legal rights that protect me to continue saying what I think, whenever I want, however I want, and wherever I want. Whether you like it or not, Madam Minister, that's freedom." This is a statement full of arrogance and disdain for the institutional framework.
He concluded his text with a phrase that leaves no doubt about his confrontational attitude: "I greet you with the ideological and moral distance that you yourself have earned."

The conflict between the Government and AFA is intensifying, and Toviggino's figure has once again become the center of political debate, while the tension with Casa Rosada promises to keep escalating.
