The new destination of Princess Leonor: military training at the highest level
The heir to the throne will enter the General Air Academy, the final stage of her military training
Princess Leonor will soon begin a new and demanding phase of her training. It is expected that she will move in the coming months to the General Air and Space Academy (AGA), located in San Javier, Murcia. This new environment represents the completion of her military instruction, after having been in Zaragoza and Marín.
The AGA is one of the most recognized training centers of the Air and Space Force. It is located at the former Murcia-San Javier airport and has more than 150 buildings designed for academic, sports, and practical training activities.
Thanks to its location by the coast, it offers ideal conditions for the comprehensive development of its students. There, military tradition is combined with cutting-edge technology, in an environment that promotes leadership, discipline, and strategy.

During their time at this academy, cadets participate in advanced flight simulations, demanding physical training, and intense theoretical education. The princess will be no exception.
Leonor and her previous connection with the AGA
It will not be the first time that the daughter of King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia sets foot in the AGA. In previous editions of the Military Academies Sports Championship, she already participated in competitions such as fencing and volleyball, representing her academy with commitment and rigor.
Now, her entry marks the beginning of the final stage of her military preparation. This step strengthens her bond with the Armed Forces, a central aspect of her future role as supreme commander of the three armies.
Her presence in San Javier not only symbolizes an academic advancement but also an institutional one. It represents the continuity of a monarchy that adapts and prepares for the future.
