San Lorenzo is experiencing an increasingly turbulent institutional climate. In the midst of an unrelenting institutional crisis, Leandro Goroyesky has submitted his resignation as the club's treasurer, although he will continue to serve as a board member within the Board of Directors.
The resignation comes at a delicate moment, marked by the return of Marcelo Moretti to the presidency, an event that has reignited internal conflicts within the leadership of the Boedo club.
At the same time, Goroyesky has urgently requested a Board of Directors meeting in an attempt to find a solution to the difficult situation the institution is facing. His resignation, which must be formalized at the next meeting, exposes the fragility of the leadership and fuels rumors about a possible vacancy in the short term.
This new departure further complicates the immediate future of Ciclón, which once again finds itself shrouded in uncertainty, while the members are waiting for concrete decisions that would allow the club, mired in a persistent crisis, to get back on track.
Closer and closer to a vacancy
According to the bylaws, for the Board of Directors to be required to call early elections, at least four more resignations are needed. However, there are still two alternate board members who could take office and fill the current vacancies, delaying the possibility of a vacancy.
In recent days, Martín Cigna, Uriel Barros and Javier Allievi, all from the administration led by Marcelo Moretti, have also resigned.
