Nicolás Vázquez broke his silence after separating from Gimena Accardi
The actor spoke on LAM about the end of the relationship, therapy, friends, and his need to heal: 'Love alone isn't enough'
After 18 years together, Nicolás Vázquez confirmed his separation from Gimena Accardi in an intimate conversation with Ángel de Brito, who called him live during the broadcast of LAM (América TV). Without avoiding the subject, the actor answered live and shared his testimony for the first time.
"Eighteen years is no joke. One always tries to hold on to the best, but sometimes you have to take different paths and see what happens individually," he expressed honestly.

He also stated that they tried to save the relationship with therapy, trips, and a lot of communication, but that was not enough: "Love alone is not enough."
"They saw me crying, locked away... I needed to talk"
Vázquez explained that he decided to make it public because his theater colleagues and closest friends noticed his distress: "It was hard for me to talk about it, but they saw me crying, locked away... I needed to talk. I couldn't pretend."

He said that those who found out first were his friends and his sister, whom he described as "his emotional support and a guide." Regarding the image they projected as a couple, he was clear: "People saw us as the perfect couple, but nothing is perfect."
"Now I need to focus on myself"
The actor concluded his testimony with a deep reflection on this moment in his life: "For a long time, I needed to focus on myself. There are things I have to heal. Sometimes life doesn't go in the same direction, even if love exists."
