Ofelia Fernández once again found herself at the center of controversy after sharing on social media an image from a charity dinner organized in front of Congress, promoted by the group led by Juan Grabois.
In her post, the former legislator claimed to have spent Christmas Eve with "people experiencing homelessness" and highlighted the role of social movements.
"They've been doing it for almost ten years now, until one day it will no longer be necessary. Let's raise a toast to social movements, no family without Christmas", Fernández wrote on her X account, along with a photo taken at the site and tagging the Excluded Workers Movement. However, the reaction quickly took a different turn.

A few hours later, a user of the same social network, who claimed to have participated as a volunteer in the preparation and distribution of the food, made a public accusation that quickly went viral.
"No one told me about it, I literally saw how she came, took the photo, and left", she wrote, in a post that gathered tens of thousands of interactions. She added: "Next time stay a little longer, because extra hands were really needed, not just for the photo".
The accusation sparked a heated debate on social media, where many users questioned the symbolic use of charitable actions for the purpose of public exposure. The controversy intensified when the same volunteer provided a detail that, as she explained, would reinforce her version of the events.

"We helpers had a little sign with our name or a white ribbon on our arm to identify us. In the photo you can see that two women from the organization have it. She doesn't have anything", she pointed out.
So far, Ofelia Fernández hasn't replied publicly to the accusation or provided clarifications about her participation in the charity dinner. The silence in the face of the accusation has drawn criticism from different sectors, which have demanded greater consistency between discourse and concrete action in this type of initiative.
Other famous "kukas" who were at this event were Andrea Rincón and Eial Moldavsky, although they went as "influencers" to showcase and invite more people to take part in the evening.
