The intervention of OSPRERA has progressed with a new measure aimed at cleaning up the health insurance fund and supporting the path promoted by the national government. The main priority is to guarantee the continuity of services.
The administrator Marcelo Petroni decided to reduce his salary by 25% and, at the same time, invited senior staff to voluntarily adopt the same measure. This way, the health insurance fund remains aligned with the deficit reduction policies imposed by Javier Milei's government.

A measure aligned with the transparency process
This provision arises from the framework established by Decrees 720/2024 and 1054/2024, which granted the administrator the powers of administration and execution of the Board of Directors. With the continuation of the intervention extended, the process of institutional stabilization has deepened and decisions have been made that directly impact the internal structure.
Petroni was already receiving a salary equivalent to that of a general coordinator, according to resolution 01/2024. However, he stated that the current situation requires an additional effort, so he ordered a 25% reduction in his gross remuneration starting in November 2025.
Call to senior staff
The general management will be responsible for formally inviting senior positions to join this 25% reduction in salaries or fees. The proposal is voluntary, but it is part of a reorganization effort aimed at strengthening the institution's financial health.

This measure adds to the actions that the intervention has been promoting since its appointment. Increased administrative control, cutting unnecessary expenses, and a transparency process aimed at restoring the strength of the health insurance fund.
