Peluca Brusca's jab at Laurita Fernández after it was confirmed that she will not continue on Canal 9
Peluca Brusca, Laurita Fernández's ex-boyfriend, spoke about the current state of his professional relationship with the host following her departure from Canal 9
Amid that scenario, it was the show's producer himself, Claudio "Peluca" Brusca, who decided to speak and give his version. Although he showered the host with praise, he also made a comment that did not go unnoticed.
In a conversation with Juan Etchegoyen, Brusca began by defending the format: "Bienvenidos a Ganar is a great show. We've been doing it in prime time for three years and we've always done well: most nights we've ranked third. Laurita did a lot to make that happen," he stated.

He was then categorical in highlighting the host's role: "Without a doubt, Laurita was the best host the show could have had. She earned her place because she participates in everything: in the creative, in the artistic, in the production. She was always on top of every detail."
Confirmed replacement and an unexpected "jab"
Brusca said that the team already knew Laurita planned to end her participation at the end of the year. "These are artistic decisions, and it's logical for someone to feel they've already given everything," he explained.
However, when speaking about the show's future, he hinted at a preference that many interpreted as a direct message: "I think it'll be great if maybe a guy replaces her. That way, comparisons are avoided... but well, that's just my very own opinion."
The comment drew attention: although he praised Laurita, the producer suggested that a male host would be ideal to continue the show in 2026.
Far from talking about a farewell, Laurita's ex-boyfriend confirmed that Bienvenidos a Ganar will continue in 2026.
"The show will go on with someone who has style, who wants to fight for that third place in prime time in a 2026 full of big names on TV," he anticipated.
Meanwhile, he thanked the channel for betting on another season and the technical team for sustaining the format: "We are very grateful. We finished recording at the end of November and we've already started putting together next year's show to grow even more."
To dispel rumors of conflict, Brusca was emphatic: "I've worked with Laurita for four and a half years and we've never had an argument. We put the show together as a team and I love how she works. She excels at hosting and getting involved in production."
