Pampita broke her silence after a strong rumor of infidelity in her relationship with Martín Pepa was spread on the show Sálvense quien pueda (América TV). The story was launched by Martín Salwe, who claimed that the model had allegedly shared an intimate dinner at a hotel in Punta del Este with the racing driver Juan Manuel "Cochito" López.
According to what was stated on air, Pampita had allegedly stayed alone at the exclusive Locanda hotel and ordered room service—including a carpaccio and wine—in the athlete's company. It was also implied that the alleged meeting had taken place without the presence of her children or her partner.
Far from letting the story run its course, the host called the show live to categorically deny the information. "When there are lies, you know I'm the first one to come out and clarify things because I don't like it when websites pick it up later and everything gets blown out of proportion", she stated.
Pampita's clarification about her stay in Uruguay
During her phone intervention, Pampita explained that she indeed spent two days at that hotel, but she was accompanied by her son Benicio. "I was with my son, who stayed with me the whole time for the two days. I don't understand why they make something like this up", she said.
