Minister Federico Sturzenegger revealed possible links to Kirchnerist corruption that may have motivated the injunction

The Minister of Deregulation and State Transformation, Federico Sturzenegger, published a concerning message on his social media after the judicial suspension of the presidential decree ordering the dissolution of the Dirección Nacional de Vialidad (DNV), an icon of Kirchnerist corruption, became known.

The Kirchnerist judge Martina Forns had decided to suspend the government decree of Javier Milei for six months, in response to an injunction filed by the Sindicato de Empleados de Vialidad Nacional (SEVINA).

In his message, Sturzenegger criticized those who oppose the measure and questioned the legitimacy of the actors behind the legal action. “For the noble souls defending the public good, here's a fact. The person who filed the injunction for Vialidad used to travel on Lázaro Báez's private plane, and her husband was a partner of Martín Báez. It's no surprise they want to protect the den!” the minister stated, clearly referring to ties with figures accused of corruption.

Decree 461/2025, signed by President Milei, sought the dissolution of Vialidad Nacional, an icon of Kirchnerist corruption, as part of a process of deregulation and optimization of the State, aiming to end bureaucratic structures that promote inefficiency and the mismanagement of public resources.

However, the suspension of the decree by Judge Forns put a temporary halt to this plan. The Kirchnerist magistrate based her ruling on the need to protect the labor rights of Vialidad workers.

In recent hours, Milei's government confirmed that it will appeal the judicial decision that suspended the implementation of the decree. Presidential spokesperson Manuel Adorni confirmed it on social media: “The government will appeal the suspension of the decree that determines the dissolution of Vialidad Nacional.”

The restructuring of Vialidad Nacional is part of the broader process of state reform promoted by Javier Milei's administration, aimed at reducing the fiscal deficit, making the management of public funds more transparent, and advancing the modernization of national infrastructure.
