Pixel 10 Pro Fold: Google's foldable device aiming to dethrone Samsung
The new Pixel 10 Pro Fold will feature a larger screen, battery, and charging capacity, and it will be the first foldable device with IP68 certification
A new leak puts the Pixel 10 Pro Fold at center stage. It will be Google's new foldable phone, set to be unveiled on August 20.
With targeted improvements, it is shaping up to be a direct competitor to Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold series and other Chinese brands such as HONOR and vivo.

Pixel 10 Pro Fold: more screen, battery, and fast charging
Google's upcoming foldable would retain the design of the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, but would introduce key changes in three essential areas:
- Larger external display: increases from 6.3" to 6.4", with thinner bezels.
- More powerful battery: increases by 7%, reaching 5,015 mAh.
- Improved charging: goes from 21 W to 23 W wired and from 8 W to 15 W wirelessly, with support for Qi2.
Brighter and more durable display
Another highlight is the improvement in the maximum brightness of the internal display. It would now reach 3,000 nits, which is 10% more than the previous model.
In addition, the crease on the flexible panel would be less visible, improving the overall visual experience of the device.

IP68 certification
According to the report, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold would be the first foldable phone to feature IP68 certification, making it resistant to dust and water.
This detail gives it an advantage over similar models that have not yet reached that durability standard.

Can Google beat Samsung?
Despite its lower investment in marketing, Google's foldable has been gaining ground. Its predecessor exceeded sales expectations, especially in Europe.
With the arrival of the Tensor G5 and these targeted improvements, Google aims to establish itself as a strong player in the foldable segment.
When will the Pixel 10 Pro Fold be released?
The new model is expected on August 20, at the event where Google will unveil its entire new Pixel 10 line-up.
