Sony announced the three games coming to PlayStation Plus in March, and one of them has taken the gaming community by surprise.
It is Dragon Age: The Veilguard, the latest installment of BioWare's popular franchise, which was released last October 31. The inclusion of this title on PlayStation Plus just four months after its release is one of the fastest arrivals of a AAA game to the subscription service.
The decision to include Dragon Age: The Veilguard in PlayStation Plus seems to align with Electronic Arts (EA) reports on the game's low commercial performance. Despite receiving good reviews, the title didn't achieve the expected success in sales, and this move could boost its player base.
The other March games on PlayStation Plus
Along with Dragon Age: The Veilguard, two more games will be available on PlayStation Plus during March:
- Sonic Colors: Ultimate – The remaster of the classic Sonic Colors, originally released on Nintendo Wii in 2010. This enhanced version includes updated graphics and an extra game mode.
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection – A collection of 13 classic Ninja Turtles games, developed by Konami between 1989 and 1994. The compilation includes iconic titles like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (arcade), The Hyperstone Heist (Sega Genesis), and three versions of Tournament Fighters.
