Pokémon TCG Pocket: the 10 most used decks by players this season
The game's developers revealed the official list of the 10 most-played decks during Season A3a
Just a few months after its global launch, Pokémon Pocket has already established a competitive community that constantly experiments, tests, and optimizes decks.
In this context, the game's developers revealed the official list of the 10 most played decks during Season A3a, which allows players to understand metagame trends and see which combinations were preferred by high-level players.
The Top 10 Most Popular Decks

These were the most used decks in ranked matches:
- Buzzwole EX + Pheromosa + Celesteela – 10.84%
- Rampardos + Silvally – 10.40%
- Solgaleo EX + Shiinotic – 6.37%
- Darkrai EX + Giratina EX – 2.95%
- Charizard EX + Silvally – 2.95%
- Solgaleo EX + Skarmory – 2.67%
- Charizard EX + Incineroar EX – 2.50%
- Guzzlord EX + Nihilego + Celesteela – 2.14%
- Guzzlord EX + Nihilego + Naganadel + Celesteela – 1.67%
- Blacephalon + Silvally – 1.29%
What Do the Top Three Decks Have in Common?
Buzzwole EX led the way as a basic Pokémon with great offensive power: its attack reaches up to 120 damage without needing to evolve. In addition, Pheromosa provides extra damage to the opponent's bench, and Celesteela is useful for moving Ultra Beasts without spending energy.
In second place, Rampardos stood out as a solid and resilient option in the metagame. Since it is not EX, it ignores immunities like Oricorio's and only gives up one point when defeated. Its synergy with Silvally—which attacks for 100 damage if a Supporter card was played that turn—makes it an efficient deck for aggressive matches.

Solgaleo EX completes the podium, standing out with 120 damage and the ability to move to the active spot at no cost. Accompanied by Shiinotic, which allows players to search for Pokémon from the deck to speed up evolutions, it forms an ideal duo to maintain constant pressure throughout the match.
An Evolving Metagame
The presence of multiple variants of Guzzlord EX, Charizard EX, and Silvally in the ranking reflects a dynamic gaming environment, where raw attack power is balanced with versatility and strategy. The ability to adapt to game conditions, take advantage of passive abilities, and minimize energy costs are key factors in building competitive decks.
With 25% of usage concentrated in just two decks, the community is expected to explore new alternatives to break the dominance of Buzzwole and Rampardos in upcoming seasons.
