The Professional Football League has announced the groups for the 2026 Torneo Apertura, in which the teams from Córdoba Talleres, Belgrano, Instituto, and Estudiantes de Río Cuarto will participate.
Meanwhile, "T" and Gloria will be together in Group A, while Pirata and León del Imperio, the newly promoted team, will go to Group B.
In Group A, Talleres and Instituto will have to face three of the five major teams, Boca, Independiente, and San Lorenzo.

They will also have to compete against prominent teams such as Estudiantes (LP) and Vélez.
The group is completed by Platense, Defensa y Justicia, Central Córdoba (SdE), Lanús, Riestra, Gimnasia (M), Newell's, and Unión.
Group B of Belgrano and Estudiantes (RC)
Pirata and Celeste del Imperio will also share the group with River and the current tournament finalist, Racing de Avellaneda. Also included are Rosario Central, Huracán, and Argentinos Juniors.
The group is completed by: Aldosivi, Atlético Tucumán, Banfield, Barracas Central, Gimnasia (LP), Independiente Rivadavia (the defending champion), Sarmiento, and Tigre.
