The Ministry of Bioagroindustry of Córdoba has created the Provincial Bovine and Bubaline Meat Board.
The entity's objective is to create a public-private coordination space that strengthens the provincial meat supply chain.
The meeting was held with representatives from entities, institutions, and universities to create a working space in which problems and sector needs will be raised, and which will serve as a consultative and advisory body to the Minister of Bioagroindustry.
Who are the members of the Bovine Meat Board in Córdoba
The Board is made up of the technical areas of the Ministry and representatives from the National Institute of Agricultural Technology (Inta); the National Service of Agri-Food Health and Quality (Senasa); and other public and private organizations that are part of the supply chain.

The Minister of Bioagroindustry stated that regulations need to be modernized.
"Livestock is at a special moment, with challenges and opportunities. That's why this bovine and bubaline meat board is being formed. It's good for the public and private sectors to work together and develop short, medium, and long-term objectives."

Among the objectives are providing solutions to the problems raised by the actors in the bovine meat supply chain; preparing reports on the topics under consideration, as well as short, medium, and long-term strategies.

Additionally, proposing coordinated actions among the different actors that are part of the province's bovine meat production system and promoting animal health, welfare, productive efficiency, and market access.
