Racing keeps moving pieces in the transfer market. After closing the bomb loan of Valentín Carboni, Academia finalized the arrival of Matko Miljevic, thus adding its second reinforcement.
The board reached a preliminary agreement with Huracán to acquire 80% of the rights of the American midfielder, for whom it will pay 3 million dollars, in an operation considered a priority by Gustavo Costas.
After several days of negotiations, the deal was unlocked by a key decision. Globo won't pay the 500 thousand dollars that correplied to the player as a transfer fee and, in turn, will retain the remaining 20% of his rights. That structure was decisive to close the deal between both parties.
The sporting department valued his profile: good ball control, work rate, and presence in the opposition's box. In the last season he was one of Huracán's standout players, a level of performance that sparked the interest of several Argentine clubs.
