In the Ampliación Ferreyra neighborhood, the Anti-Narcotics Police Force carried out an operation that resulted in the seizure of thousands of doses of marijuana. The measure was ordered by the Anti-Narcotics Prosecutor's Office, which seeks to dismantle a network with a presence in various areas of Córdoba Capital. The procedure was conducted at a residence located on Pasaje Público s/n, where a large seizure was made.
During the raid, 6,094 doses of marijuana, six cannabis sativa plants, and a replica firearm were seized. Authorities also found 50 .22 caliber cartridges, a spent shell casing, and items allegedly intended for packaging. The material was placed under judicial custody as part of the ongoing investigation.
Sources confirmed that this operation is connected to another carried out in August, when four people were arrested. Back then, five points of sale were closed and weapons, money, and vehicles were seized. Investigators maintain that both procedures are related to the same organization.

Connection with previous cases
The most recent procedure aims to establish the links between the different actors in the drug trafficking organization. The organization had expanded its operations in neighborhoods such as 12 de Julio, Nueva Esperanza, and Ciudad de Mis Sueños. In those areas, distribution structures with several active points of sale were reportedly set up.
The investigation seeks to determine responsibilities within the criminal network, as well as the hierarchy of those who were part of the distribution circuit. Investigators maintain that the discovery of weapons and ammunition could be linked to the protection of the points of sale. That hypothesis remains under forensic analysis.
The Anti-Narcotics Prosecutor's Office will continue with procedural measures in the coming days. These will include new statements and forensic examinations of the seized items. The objective is to consolidate evidence for a possible trial against those involved in the organization.
