Renault Boreal: when will the new SUV arriving in Argentina be unveiled
Renault will unveil the Boreal on July 10 in Brazil. It will arrive in Argentina before the end of the year
Renault has confirmed that its new SUV in the C segment will be unveiled on July 10 in Brazil. This is the Boreal, a model that is shaping up to be one of the year's major bets for the regional market.
The Boreal is expected to arrive in Argentina before the end of the year. It will be positioned above the Kardian and Duster, and will compete with heavyweights such as the Jeep Compass, Toyota Corolla Cross, and Volkswagen Taos.

What will the design of the new Renault Boreal be like?
According to the Brazilian website Quatro Rodas, the design of the Boreal will take inspiration from the Dacia Bigster, a model that is also part of the Renault group.
Designer João Kleber Amaral created renderings that show an SUV with a redesigned grille, double rear lights, large side windows, and well-defined aesthetic details.
Confirmed aesthetic details
- Rear door handles hidden in the pillars.
- Two-tone body: with roof, mirrors, and pillars in black.
- Plastic protectors in the lower area to give a more robust look.

The exterior ensemble aims for a modern and adventurous image. Although it is not yet official, everything indicates that the model will be very similar to what has been projected.
Equipment and onboard technology
Inside, the Boreal will add a digital dashboard and a multimedia screen integrated into the center console. Actual images are not yet available, but a presentation similar to the Kardian is expected.

In terms of safety, it would incorporate advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), such as:
- Autonomous emergency braking.
- Adaptive cruise control.
- Lane keeping assist.
- Blind spot sensor.
This would make it one of the most complete SUVs in the segment in terms of technology and active safety.

When is the Boreal coming to Argentina?
Although the official unveiling will be in July in Brazil, the launch in Argentina is scheduled for the last months of 2025.
The Boreal will seek to position itself as a strong alternative within the C segment, targeting an audience looking for design, technology, and a good level of equipment.
