Rojo and Saracchi challenged the Football Council and set boundaries for Riquelme.

The players, sidelined due to indiscipline, targeted Cascini and Delgado and demanded explanations from Boca's president

Amid the institutional turmoil that Boca is experiencing, a new chapter of tension erupted at the Ezeiza training ground. After being separated from the First Division squad, Marcos Rojo and Marcelo Saracchi confronted Raúl Cascini and Marcelo Delgado directly, members of the increasingly questioned Football Council. The scene, filled with tension, leaves the club's internal affairs on the verge of collapse.

According to journalist Martín Arévalo, everything began when an equipment manager handed both players their belongings and informed them that they would train apart from the group.

Soon after, they were called to the office where Cascini and Delgado told them that the decision was made by coach Miguel Ángel Russo due to an act of indiscipline. Juan Román Riquelme, the club's president and a central figure in the structure, did not participate in the conversation, as he arrived late to training.

However, far from accepting the situation in silence, Rojo and Saracchi replied firmly. "Do you have problems every day and want to take it out on us? Boca doesn't play for anything, doesn't win a match, and we're the ones to blame?" was one of the harshest statements that, according to Arévalo, they directed at the club officials.

The anger did not end there: "We train every day with the best attitude, knowing we weren't going to play. In the Club World Cup we gave everything we had and always pushed forward for everyone, and this is how we're repaid? Wanting to remove us from the group. It's a disgrace what you're doing to us," they continued.

Even Saracchi added another specific complaint about his failed transfer: "Guys, I brought an offer from Independiente and you messed me around for a week. The transfer didn't happen," he said, visibly upset. In response, Delgado and Cascini nodded, acknowledging the complaint. "You're right, but it's Miguel's decision," they replied, shifting responsibility.

The climax of the confrontation came with a direct warning to Riquelme: "We're going to change in the First Division locker room. If you want to kick us out, let Riquelme come, face us, and let's settle our departure."

After the altercation, both players participated in the first training session but left before the second, exposing an internal conflict that can no longer be hidden.

This new scandal only deepens the crisis the club is going through, with poor sporting results, fractures within the squad, and a management that, for now, still hasn't provided any public explanations.
