Roña Castro, the first contestant eliminated from MasterChef Celebrity, broke his silence and launched harsh criticism against the reality show. The former boxer claimed that he experienced mistreatment during his time on the show and pointed directly at the host and the judges.
In a conversation with Intrusos (América TV), the man also known as "Locomotora" Castro spoke without filters and exposed situations that, according to him, marked his short stay in the competition.

"There are favorites on the reality show"
Castro was blunt when he referred to the unequal treatment among the contestants. "There are favorites throughout the entire reality show", he stated, and he emphasized that not everyone receives the same feedback.
Regarding the judges, he drew distinctions: he praised Donato De Santis, but he was critical of the rest. "Some do not even give a smile, nothing. They act one way with some and another way with others", he maintained.
Unfulfilled promises
The former boxer also revealed that he received promises that were never fulfilled. "They told me that the chefs and Wanda Nara were going to go cook at my soup kitchens. I'm still waiting", he stated.
Regarding the dynamics of the show, he claimed that the recordings were exhausting. "On the first day I spent eleven hours recording. After that it was eight hours per day, it's terrible", he explained.
The strongest accusation against Wanda Nara
One of the tensest moments of the interview came when he targeted the host. "For me the envelope is already decided. Wanda chooses who stays and who leaves", he fired.

He also suggested that there are personal ties that influence the decisions. "She has more chemistry with Maxi. He was her husband, but the treatment should be the same for everyone", he added.
He refused to return for the second-chance round
Castro confirmed that the production team offered him the chance to return in the second-chance round. However, he decided not to accept the proposal: "I did not want to be there anymore. I have commitments and I felt that it was not my place", he explained about his decision.
A discomfort that is not isolated
Roña Castro's statements add to those made by Esteban Mirol, another contestant eliminated from the show.
The journalist also denounced mistreatment and claimed that he felt discriminated against because of his age.
