The reconstruction of Boca is already underway. With Miguel Ángel Russo at the helm for the third time, the club has started making moves to face a semester full of competition, where it will compete in the Club World Cup, the domestic tournament, and the Copa Argentina.
With a focus on regaining its football identity and strengthening key areas of the team, there are already two confirmed reinforcements who will join the squad.
Both players arrive after strong performances in Argentine football, with consistent playing time at their clubs and the intention of covering areas where Xeneize showed inconsistency during the first half of the year.
One of them is Marco Pellegrino, a left-footed center back who had an outstanding performance wearing Huracán's jersey, although his transfer rights belonged to Milan of Italy. The other is Malcom Braida, a wingback with an attacking profile, captain and leader of San Lorenzo, specifically requested by Russo, who has already coached him at the Boedo club.
