The personnel of theArgentine Armed Forces will be paid in February 2026 with a new salary scale already made official by the Government. The adjustment includes a percentage increase and a fixed sum that affects all ranks.
The measure was confirmed through the Official Gazette and covers both military personnel and staff of the Naval Establishments Police.

The increase confirmed for military personnel
According to Joint Resolution 1/2026 of the Ministries of Economy and Defense, the salaries have been in effect since December 2025 and are fully reflected in February.
The increase is part of the wage agreement of the National Public Employment System (SINEP) and includes:
2% increase on basic salaries.
Fixed sum of $50,000 for all covered personnel.
Who is covered by the measure
The increase applies to all military personnel of the Army, Navy, and Air Force. It also includes officers of the Naval Establishments Police.

The resolution bears the signature of the Minister of Economy, Luis Caputo, and the Minister of Defense, Carlos Presti. The funds are covered by allocations from the National Budget of the Ministry of Defense.
