After the court ruling that annulled the last board meeting, the president has until Friday to arrange a new meeting
While the threat of bankruptcy continues to loom over the economic landscape, San Lorenzo's institutional crisis has no respite. The club's Oversight Committee formally notified Marcelo Moretti to convene a new Board of Directors meeting, as ordered by the courts just over ten days ago. The ruling had suspended the meeting held in September, in which the club's institutional vacancy was declared.
"With the unanimous agreement of all members, we formally notify Moretti to call the Board of Directors meeting," explained Ariel Deán, a member of the oversight body, on his social media. He warned: "If he doesn't do so, and upon the expiration of the deadline, the call will be made by the Oversight Committee to prevent further aggravation of the club's institutional situation."

"At that Board meeting, the resignations approved at the meeting that was declared null must be addressed, and a new call to the Assembly must also be made," Deán concluded, highlighting the urgency for the club to regularize its institutional situation before the courts intervene.
The court ruling granted Moretti a period of 15 days (15 días) from the club's official notification to hold the meeting in accordance with the bylaws. If this is not fulfilled, the General Inspectorate of Justice (IGJ) could intervene in the institution.
Although there was speculation that the period would be counted in business days, the resolution clarified that the calculation should be made in calendar days, according to Article 6 of the Civil and Commercial Code of the Nation, which establishes that deadlines are counted continuously, without excluding weekends or holidays.
This way, considering that San Lorenzo was notified on Thursday, October 9, Moretti has until Friday, the 24th inclusive, to hold the meeting. This detail is significant, since the ruling refers to the deadline for holding the meeting, not for issuing the call.
